Abandoned Settlement Planning Week April 2018

We are going to plan the Tarradale 18th Century Abandoned Settlement from 7-14th April.  Spaces will be limited, however I will try to accommodate as many people as possible.  The event will take place from 10.00 to 4.00 each day.  Please bring a packed lunch and refreshments for yourself and wear suitable clothing.

The programme is as follows:

Sunday 8th April Weather and farming permitting, we will join with the regular field walking which has been taking place independently from TTT for several years.

Monday 9th April and Tuesday 10th April Plane tabling the houses on the site.

Wednesday 11th April to Friday 13th April, Small excavations of trenches across the walls and test pits where appropriate to determine the construction methods etc.

Saturday 14th April Open Day and final day of this part of the project.

If you would like to join us please email me tarradalethroughtime@gmail.com.  As I suggested earlier places will be limited so please tell me which days you will be available.  Certain parts of the event will be heavily weather dependant so if you could send me your mobile phone number so I can let you know if we need to cancel.
