Tarradale 2018 Excavation Video: Gilchrist and Balvattie

To whet your whistle for the 2019 dig, here is our newly edited video of last year's excavations at Gilchrist promontory fort and Balvattie enclosed settlement.
It's 20 minutes long, edited down from around 90 minutes of footage recorded by Jonie, Lachlan and I across the 2 weeks of excavation last September. There is a good range of interviews with volunteers telling us what they up to, plus comment from Lachlan and Andy - the professionals from HAS. Also we have film of some of the school visits which took place, and of the site tours on the final day.
Apologies for the wind noise in places. You can clearly see the challenging weather conditions we encountered in the second week which led to digging being abandoned on a couple of days. If you volunteered or even visited the dig perhaps you will spot yourself - you might even have a starring role!
